Well; ATCC can’t always provide the correct microorganism, nor can it always avoid contaminating its stock microorganisms. The same would be true of almost any commercial or for that matter working laboratories maintaining their own local stocks.

The reason that our lyophilized products are to be stored in refrigeration is to ensure that maintain their stability until the expiration date. If our products are exposed to temperatures above refrigeration for extended periods of time, the product may not perform as expected.
